Volunteer Application
Festival Expectations:
Attendance: We rely on your attendance to ensure that the Larlee Creek Hullabaloo runs as smoothly as possible. If for some reason your schedule has changed and you can no longer make it to your volunteer shift please email larleecreek.hullabaloo@gmail.com or call 877-778-7271.
Volunteer Attire: Volunteers are provided with a LCH volunteer T-shirt. You must wear your T-shirt throughout your entire shift however it must be removed after your shift is over. It is also recommended that you wear comfortable footwear because most shifts require you to be on your feet for long periods of time.
Arrival and Breaks: Be sure to check into and out of your shifts at the appropriate entrance to receive benefits to volunteering your time to the festival (we cannot offer you benefits if your time volunteered is not recorded properly). Please arrive 15-20 minutes early for your shift leaving time to find parking and properly prepare yourself to start your shift. Volunteers are required to go through security and bag searches before entering festival grounds just like any festival goer.
Respect and Kindness: Treat everyone at the festival with respect and kindness whether it be a fellow volunteer, an artist or a member of the audience. How you act reflects on the entire festival.
Teamwork: This festival would not happen without the volunteers commitment and teamwork as an entire unit. You are expected to work as a team not only within your crew but with all volunteers working the festival. With group effort and communication the festival will run smoothly and problem solving will be more efficient.
Represent: Our volunteers are the heart of the festival, they are expected to create a positive experience for everyone and represent the LCH positively.
Along with working their designated shifts each volunteer may be asked to attend a meeting before festival weekend led by the appropriate crew head. Team meetings will include important information such as: where to go when you get to festival grounds, how to deal with certain situations, expectations of your shift responsibilities, and how your designated area of the festival will run. Any questions you may have can be answered during these meetings by the crew head.
