Let’s make some noise! What do a frying pan and a windchime have in common? They can make beautiful music. Come join us in our musical playground where you can put your imaginiation to work and see thatyou can create music anywhere and on just about anything.
1:00 – 1:30 pm Build your own instrument
Let’s shake things up. Join us as we create and make homemade shakers to shake, rattle or tap to the beat.
1:30 – 2:30 pm Rhythm Class
You’ve got rhythm! Use your homemade instrument, or one of our buckets, to create some sick beats. Our family tent hosts will help your child discover their feel for music and develop their own sense of rhythm.
2:30 – 3:00 pm Hullabaloo Scavenger Hunt
Pics or it didn’t happen. Our wee rock stars can’t leave the Hullabaloo without selfies of their festival experience. Each team needs an adult please.
3:00 – 4:00 pm Line Dancing
So you think you can dance? Or maybe you want to learn. Well let’s boot scootin boogie our way over to the dance floor.
4:00 – 4:30 pm Science/Art in Music
Let’s explore how sound waves create vibrations that we can use to make our very own art.
4:30 – 5:00 pm Musical Games
More fun! Kids will be playing all sorts of musical games to get them in the Hullabaloo spirit. Activities include musical chairs, limbo, freeze dance, and rhythm games.
