Larlee Creek Hullabaloo announces performer line-up for 7th annual event in Perth-Andover, August 15-17

Known as the “Little Festival That Could”, the 7th annual Larlee Creek Hullabaloo announces its 2014 performer line-up, bringing some of the best talent Canada has to offer to the picturesque village of Perth-Andover, NB, August 15 – 17.

Festival performers will include, JUNO award-winning folk/rock/alternative country group, Blackie and The Rodeo Kings, 2014 winner of CBC Music and Hockey Night in Canada’s Song Quest competition, folk singer songwriter Dave Gunning accompanied by Allie Bennett, multi-award winning roots-blues singer-songwriter, Thom Swift, lively folk-gypsy band, Ben Caplan & The Casual Smokers, Newfoundlands’s energetic Celtic group, The Navigators and Cape Breton indie rockers, Tom Fun Orchestra.

Other performers include, folk-roots-bluegrass ensemble, The Modern Grass, roots-rock group, Sherman Downey and The Ambiguous Case and folk-roots singer songwriter, Jim Dorie. New Brunswick musicians performing include, singer songwriter, Kyle Johnsen from New Denmark, indie rock group, Danger Cat from Moncton and blues-rock trio, Terry Whalen Band from Miramichi.

“The calibre of artists in this country is definitely worth getting excited over and I couldn’t be happier with our 2014 lineup,” said Heidi Baird, Artistic Director of the Larlee Creek Hullabaloo. “In addition to several well-known East Coast favorites and Canadian legends, Blackie and Rodeo Kings, the festival is presenting a good mix of emerging and local artists that are often the hidden gems of the weekend. I can’t wait to welcome back our audience this August for another fantastic weekend of music, friends and memories.”

During the three-day event, festival-goers of all ages can experience main stage performances, Songwriters Circles, children’s performances, workshops and other free activities throughout the community. There will also be food and artisan vendors on site. More artists and festival details to be announced soon.

Tickets for the festival are on sale now. Ticket prices range from $25 – $60 (including tax, plus surcharge) with early bird weekend passes on sale today until Saturday, June 14 for $50 (including tax, plus surcharge). Campsites are not included in the ticket price, but can be booked by calling Baird’s Campground, adjacent to the festival site at (506) 273-3080.
